What More Mahjong knows about you

Almost nothing, and by design. More Mahjong is an offline-first game. You do not need an account, an email address, or a login to install it and play it.

What stays on your device

Your hand history, your lifetime stats, your achievements, and your settings are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to us, and we cannot read them. Deleting the app deletes them.

Anonymous usage analytics

The app records anonymous usage events — which style you played, how many hands, which screens you opened — so we can tell which parts of the game people actually use. This data is processed by Amplitude, an analytics provider.

• It is anonymous. Events are tied to a random identifier generated by the analytics library, not to you.
• It contains no personal information — no name, no email address, no Game Center display name, no contact details.
• It does not use the iOS advertising identifier (IDFA), and the app does not ask for tracking permission, because it does not track you across apps or websites.
• You can turn it off. Open the menu, then Settings, and switch off “Share usage data”. It is on by default; switching it off stops collection.

Game Center and online play

Game Center is optional. Solo play never requires it.

If you sign in, Apple's Game Center handles your identity, your leaderboard entries, and your achievements. That is Apple's service, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not ours. When you join an online table, the other players at that table can see your Game Center display name — that is how they know whose turn it is.

No ads

There is no advertising in More Mahjong, and therefore no advertising SDKs, no ad networks, and no ad-based profiling.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details.

Children

More Mahjong is a general-audience game. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information at all.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what the app collects, the updated date above will change and the new version will be published here.
